Horror and Beauty — I love these games and am fanning out hard over the TV show! One theme of this epic franchise is the idea of beauty and horror going hand in hand. The landscape is beautiful despite the desolation. The cordyceps fungus creates monsters while it’s mycelium is strangely beautiful at times. And of course the love between the characters is beautiful and oh so ugly at times. This fan poster is meant to capture that paradox. I really wanted the clicker’s human features to look oddly attractive with the fungus growth almost acting like a fancy hair do. it’s a little unsettling but I love it, hope you do too!
